If IPL19 were to be a school, Rajasthan and Bangalore would sit on the same bench. Rajasthan who have managed to win just a single game this season square-off against the in-form Chennai. The yellow army, on the other hand, probably is the best team this season, losing only once to Mumbai’s splendid bowling performance.
Pitch Report: The pitch is expected to be slow and low, benefitting the spinners.
Sanju Samson: He had a cracker start to the season with a ton in the first game but got pulled down by the injury, and there are chances that he might start against Chennai.
Steve Smith: Smith’s return to form will be a big positive for Rajasthan. His spells against Bangalore and Kolkata were commendable.
Rajasthan’s Bowling: Bowling appears to be lacking in ideas, and the likes of Stokes, Jofra Archer, Jaidev Unadkat, and Dhawal Kulkarni will have to pull up their socks against an in-form Chennai.
Fau Du Plessis: He has been very impressive this season along with the fellow opener Shane Watson.
MS Dhoni: Captain obvious smashed an unbeaten 75 when these two locked horns las time.
Chennai bowling: The bowling unit, which has an impressive mix of pace and spin, will look to exploit the wicket conditions. Tahir, Deepak, Harbhajan should fit perfectly in anyone’s fantasy team.
